Opening is planned for early December, depending on snow. Check the official Sierra Nevada website to confirm dates and slope conditions.

How to get up there

Option 1 – By bus (the easiest)

From Camarón Suite, a short taxi ride (about €5, 10 minutes) takes you to Granada Bus Station (Av. Juan Pablo II), where the Autocares Tocina bus to Sierra Nevada departs (it also stops at the Palacio de Congresos). On busy days, when the car parks fill up and car access is closed, the bus keeps going up. We recommend buying your ticket in advance.

Option 2 – By car

About 31 km on the A-395 (around 40 minutes). Set off early at weekends: the Pradollano car parks fill up by mid-morning. Carry snow chains or use winter tyres and check the road conditions before setting off.

A base for sports enthusiasts

The ideal base for snow sports enthusiasts

The lower Albaicín is the perfect strategic location: you reach the cave's door along wide, level streets, leave your car in the24h underground car park Triunfo (Avenida de la Constitución): covered and monitored,a few minutes away on foot(it has two entrances on the avenue), and the next day you join the A-395 motorway directly towards Sierra Nevada, without navigating the narrow, steep streets of the upper Albaicín.

When you return from the slopes, the comfort ofunderfloor heating powered by an air source heat pumpsoothes tired legs and feet silently and invisibly, while the cave's thermal mass keeps the atmosphere warm and stable all night.
